Firefly Bridge mosaic is a stained glass mosaic just over 4 feet wide. Once the Firefly Trail between Winterville and Athens is complete, the restored Murmur Trestle bridge will be a safe hour-long bike ride from this mosaic.
Historic Winterville mosaic is a stained glass and ceramic mosaic just over 7 feet wide, featuring the Winterville Train Depot, the Blacksmith Shop (pre-renovation), the Doctor's Museum, and the Bank building in color, transitioning through iridescent gray glass into B&W to depict an old train and the Pittard Store which no longer exist. The Firefly Trail was named after sparks from wood-fired trains which resembled fireflies.
