Heron Sighting

Inspired by a memorable encounter with a great blue heron in Dudley Park (Athens, GA)

Heron Sighting, a mosaic mural made of handmade ceramic, stained glass, vitreous glass, and mirror, was fabricated in my studio over Summer 2021 and installed in early September
The project was supported by the Athens Cultural Affairs Commission and funded by ACC SPLOST 2011 
Local puzzlemakers Very Good Puzzle made a nice art puzzle of Heron Sighting
