Timurid Moon Fireplace features phases of the moon, a watery design, and patterns inspired by Samarkand in modern day Uzbekistan, which was once a part of the Timurid Empire. The mosaic contains shimmery iridescent glass, glitter glass, and colored mirror. It was one of my early mosaic projects way back in 2007, but I still love it.
